- World Wildlife Fund (WWF) welcomes Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clintonâs announcement this morning of a new initiative to address âshort-livedâ pollutants that contribute to climate change â but warned that the primary effort in reducing dangerous climate changing emissions has to remain on achieving rapid and deep cuts to carbon dioxide emissions.
